Christmas Tree Lighting...

Do you see the resemblance?
I know I know, it is not even Thanksgiving yet! We do usually wait to put up the tree until the day after Thanksgiving...BUT, we are not going to be home until well after Thanksgiving and we wanted to have it up when we got home. We had a great day putting it up and decorating the ole home.

So, we are expecting to coast on through week 16 this week and right into 17 next week, which only leaves us two more weeks. I did speak to our coordinator last week and she said they have had no family wait longer than 5 months. I told her she could not make us the exception. We are well on our way now. I would never have imagined it taking this long, but now when I look back it doesn't really seem that long and i know that is how i will feel when Isaac is finally home.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

What if you get the call on Thanksgiving and then you can forever call him your Turkey...but then again, I got my call on Valentines Day and I still call my children turkeys....so...um...nevermind. But maybe you will get the call this week. Tomorrow. In an hour. Come on, phone....

They already told me there will be no calls on Thurs or Friday. So, no such luck. But I too will probably still call him a turkey as I do Micah. Love you friend! Have a great Thanksgiving.

Hi Keva Darling,

The Lord is a re-warder of those who diligently seek him, amen?

The Spirit of the Lord would say to you and Trevor:
Your Isaac has a warrior spirit; for many generations his family fought in the bush just to survive, but the Lord says not only will Issac survive, but he will thrive. It is a miraculous move of God that Isaac is being brought out of darkness into His marvelous light. The plans of the Lord will cause Isaac to take the new covenant blessing back to his people one day... for salvation, deliverance and healing will be the children's bread. Train his hands for war, but teach his heart to love, for the greatest of these gifts is love.
The Lord says your joy will be complete with the addition Issac; it has something to do with 2 sons from 2 nations that have suffered horrendously under the spirit of poverty and fear. You and Trevor are helping to break these strongholds the enemy has set up for centuries.
The Lord says your sons are part of your inheritance. Seek intercessors that will help bring the purposes of God to fruition in your lives.
Num. 6:24 May the Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace.
Much love,
Aunt Debbie
