Boy's Room Decor

I have slowly been getting things together for the boy's room and here is the latest. I went to Walmart and bought wood letters and Micah and I painted them navy blue and then paper mached on them cool patterned paper. I think they turned out great. I am going to do Isaac's letters a little later. I have to space out the spending. I plan to do his in barn red paint and red toned paper. I have been able to get two 11x17 frames w/8x10 mates. One has a navy mate and the other has a red mate. I can't wait to begin putting things together. I plan to wait until we get the bed before I start decorating. So, it may be a while.

Let me try this post again....

Micah's letters turned out really cool. I want to learn how to do this while I'm there...which means Isaac's letters may be done faster than you think...see you next Saturday, my Martha Stewart sister! ;)

Cool project! I'll bet Micah had a blast with it. Can't go wrong with paint and paper mache.

I think I'm seeing a yellow wall behind those pretty colors!

Love the letters! Moody supported the Tar Heels for years, he was on staff with Campus Crusade for several years at UNC-- so he has a love for NC:)

Such a small world- love that the Lord is connecting us through adoption:) We have family in Midland and Austin-- I'm sure we will discover more things that we have in common.

I enjoy praying for my new friends! Hope you have a great day.

I stumbled across your blog while doing a search on the fruit of the spirit! I enjoyed reading it and will pray for a smooth transition for all of you in the coming months! What a blessing! =)

Our official request says: twins/sibs, 0-4 yrs and 11 mo., 1 boy/1girl. We will most likely not get an infant b/c so many people requesting sibs specifically request one to be under 12 months old--but we also know that only the Lord really knows and that gives me peace!!

Can't wait to read your blog the day you get your referral!!
