Here it is in it's completion. I want to say a huge thank you to my friend Jamie who came over today with her beautiful children and helped me put Micah and Isaac room back together. I had taken everything down that was in there plus added a few new things and she lent me her Interior Design expertise. I must say I think it looks great. Now we just have to add one more little boy and it will be finito.
Come on Natalie (Gladney Ethiopia Coordinator) any day now.

love, love, love it!!!!
Now we just need an Issac to go with the Pottery Barn chair and wooden letters! It looks great, and thanks for letting me help with the bedroom of two very special little boys!
What a perfect little boys room! Your boys are going to share some great times in their fantastic room! Amy
Looks good! I am so glad things are together and you have gotten some nesting over with, it is a sweet feeling looking at the bed and just thinking about a sweet little one being there soon...hopefully really soon for you guys! Lets get the boys together and do something fun soon.
Love the bunk beds. My sister and I had our own rooms but slept together for years just because we didn't like to be alone!! I hope Natalie has to wear her dialing finger out very soon (calling all of us waiting familes)!!
The room looks great. I bet Micah is really getting excited about his little brother now. The boys really are going to have a great time in there. I'm sorry if this makes you feel bad, but I miss you guys so much. I wish I was there waiting for your little one with you.
I've got to share this...
Yesterday, when I was hanging out with the Atwood's I asked Micah if he was excited about his new bunk beds. His PRECIOUS response was, "Yeah! And I'm really excited about my new little brother!"
Oh, it melted my heart!!
The room looks fantastic! You did a great job sister.
Isaac is going to be THRILLED. I will tell you MY bunkbed story with John - when he came home, he had a hard time going to bed at night (to say the LEAST - he would throw himself off the bed and spit at us and pinch us and hit us repeatedly until he would fall asleep and we panicked and took the bunkbed apart - the room was not big enough for this but we made due. He STILL did it. So we bunked them back up (after about 3 days of unbunked) and powered thru the transitional time pd and then he loved it. Just know that it won't be what he is used to (unless...is that what they have in Eth?) but w/i a week he won't remember anythign diff.
I have been praying for you to have joy right now and such a sweet perservering hope! It's hard now tha tI know this stuff because I am expecting something soon...where before I wasn't and I was just focused on a long haul so I am trying not to dwell on the "what ifs" and delight myself in God - who never changes. Did you read the last post from the Daileaders? They talked about some toddlers in one of the orphanages and said they were being matched with families, so things are happening - take heart! I'll try and give you a ring this week.
I'm so excited for you guys. The room looks great. I'm excited to come stay with you guys in Nov. So how old do you think Isaac will be and what are your thoughts on their sleeping arrangements. Will they sleep together on the bottom or will Micah sleep on top and Isaac on the bottom. I'm just curious. Since we're having another too. We're soon to go the bunk bed route. The girls are still kind of young so I'm not sure how they'll do. I think they'll be OK since all bunk beds now have rails almost all the way around on the top. Just being nosey!!
