KidFest

We enjoyed a day out at Kidfest in Raleigh. It was an event for vendors(geared at children) to come out and promote their stuff. They had bounce houses, huge blow-up slides, tatoos, chick-fil-a and so much more. They sold tickets for .25 cents and each thing cost about five tickets. We had a blast. Micah got to meet Spider-Man, which he was over the moon about. I think I was just as excited as he was, for him.

Well, we are off tomorrow to begin our series of shots for international travel to Ethiopia. I am not looking forward to this. I don't mind having my blood taken, but I do mind being jabbed with medicine and the soreness that comes after. Oh, and Trevor nearly passes out at the site of a needle, you think I am kidding, I am NOT. And we have to take Micah with us, the poor thing. He will probably be traumatized by it. Please pray for us.

I know Micah had a good time. Too bad we couldn't have gone with you. Sorry, I haven't put any pictures of the house on the blog. I guess I have been waiting to get it more organized and less a disaster. But yes, we are in it now for almost three weeks. It is great. I will call you soon. Tell Micah that we send our love and Corbin says hi.

Keva is not kidding about Trevor passing out at needles and shots. Keva, be sure he is where he can get down on a table of the floor easily. I am Trevor's Dad. I know about this.

I don't know what time your going but give me a ring about watching Micah if you need me! I don't mind a bit. Are you guys going to do it at the school? That's where we did ours.

I would love to know what shots you have decided to take- I've heard such differing views. I'm inclined to go with the "less is more" theory b/c we have 7 people to get shots!! Moody, me, kids and sitter-- that will cost a fortune.

Any advice would be welcome.

Hope everything went okay. Our shots weren't too bad. So Micah had to get them too?? That wouldn't be fun for a little one!! You guys are in my prayers tonight!
Natalie emailed today to tell us that she spoke with Belay and our dossier is completely translated! So that is good, now come on Belay and send a baby our way!!!!
