It is all coming together...

A place to rest our heads for 13 days...CHECK! We are staying at the New Flower Guest House. We are thrilled to have gotten a room there. Check it out as a cheaper option for lodging. Or check out Miranda's blog, she has written about it.
WOW! This was an ordeal, but we had some fantastic help (; Flights were all full on the day we were to leave and no flight the day before or day after, so we are staying 2 additional days. It all worked out. Praise God!

Also, we told by Natalie that there will be no other families there while we are there...so sad! I guess that means added attention for us (:

Well we have suitcases to continue to pack and a frazzled brain that is going to get some more things accomplished...first things first, help my son build a train track.

Signing off!

That house is so cute. It looks like a beach house. I am so excited for y'all!!! Now I'm a little jealous I want to be holding our new one soon. We have a little less than 2 months until my due date. Will Micah be going with y'all??

Congrats once more Keva. I can't wait to hear more once you get there. When do you leave and when will you return? Echoing, Katie's question, is Micah going too?

No Micah will not be going. We really wanted him to, but felt the travel would be to hard on him and the food. Also, we felt we needed this time to bond with Isaac. Maybe he can go the next time...

It looks like a beach condo - when I clicked on your post I thought you were planning a vacation! Our accomodations in Siberia are a little different.

Congratulations!!! We are so excited for you Keva. As I told Miranda, get ready for an amazing and life changing journey. We will pray for your safety and blessings. Also, do you have room for a package for Kolfe. Please let me know and I will bring it to you asap. I also have luggage you can borrow if necessary. We are so excited for your family and can't wait to see you all home safe and sound. In His Timing & Care, Eileen

Hey guys,

Congratulations again. Just a quick note....just because there are no Gladney families there does not mean there won't be other families traveling to pick up their babies. We had no other Gladney families traveling with us, but had an opportunity to meet some wonderful people from other agencies. One example are the McConomy's (http://www.hisloveforus.blogspot.com) Of course we stayed at the Hilton so it was easier to run into them as we were coming and going. Take advantage of the time at Dulles while you wait for your connection to meet other families. It is not hard to figure out who is traveling to Ethiopia for the purpose of adoption. Most white people flying to Addis are going for that purpose. Some exceptions are missionaries and Peace Corps-type folks flying to Addis to serve there or to connect to other African countries.

Blessings to you!

Jerry
